Here's the passenger side of the engine showing how close the pulleys are to the fender. Everything fit OK except the power steering pulley which required some surgery to provide clearance.

Another shot of the pulleys. The alternator isn't installed yet.

Although it doesn't look like it, there is enough room for the radiator and the a/c condenser. I'm not sure about the fan though.

Here's the Optima Red Top mounted in the sealed Taylor battery box. The box sits on the bottom of the spare tire well and I trimmed the trunk carpet around it. 2 gauge welding cable carry the power.

The battery box with lid installed. It's held on with 2 wing nuts. The 2 threaded rods go right through the box and trunk floor where they are held by nuts and washers, securing the whole assembly from moving. The box is also vented through the floor to comply with NHRA rules.

This is the front sub-frame re-inforcement I made for the passenger side. It's just some angle iron, 1" square tubing and flat iron welded together. It connects the control arm frame bolt directly to the sway bar bracket. My theory is it will reduce frame flex during acceleration/braking, therefore reducing torque steer and wheel hop.

The drivers side is basically the same except I had to make a 15 degree angle in the brace to clear the tranny.
