Hi! this is just a little info about me. I was born and raise in Saskatchewan, Canada and grew up on a grain/cattle farm with my parents. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister and I am the youngest. My dad also ran his own garage from the mid-70's to the early 90's. I think it was this constant exposure to the automotive environment that first got me interested in cars in general. The Topaz SHO was built in my dads garage, I can't say how invaluable all the specialized tools and equipment were. If I had to buy all the tools, this project would have never been completed.
I graduated high school in 1991 and went on to take a Business Administration course at a local college. I graduated with honors and went on to take 2 years of Electrical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. During the summers I usually worked construction jobs because they paid well and I liked the work. After University, I worked a few more construction jobs and then took a job as a cab driver for the winter in my home town. I drove for this company for 2 years before deciding I had put up with enough BS from the owner and needed to work for myself. Thus Olympic Transportation Services Ltd. was born in March, 1998 and it has grown by leaps and bounds since then. My company provides 24 hour taxi and shuttle service to the area and I also run the City Handicap Transit. In the future I hope to expand to charter service, medical taxi service, and perhaps a Chauffeured Limousine service.
I bought my own home in November, 2001 and I'm in the process of redoing the interior and the yard. Pets include 2 cats and several Tiger fish, Guppies and Cat Fish in a large aquarium..
I don't have any solid plans for the future. I may eventually sell my business and take a few months off to travel and relax. I love travelling by car and a trip all around Canada and the USA would be the ultimate vacation for me.
